A Great Hotel in Tuscany

25 years married - to celebrate that, we spend a few days in Tuscany. I hate to book in advance - I am a free spirit (sometimes i get punished for that) - arriving by car to Tuscany my wife remembered the name of a nice hotel where we stayed some years ago. The "Il Molino" she said. Needless to say, she remembered the wrong town and the name was also not 100% right. After some hours of crossing the whole Chianti area, we finally asked at the tourist information. The helpful person could not find "Il Molino", nothing in the telephone book, nothing in the Hotelguide. We continued our search found and recognized the area and as well the hotel called "L´Ultimo Molino". By now it was 10pm and I really wanted to have a good dinner and go to bed......But the hotel was full!.....However a helpful receptionist phoned another hotel with still some rooms left...Only 10 minutes away he said.
Back into the car...10 minutes drive.......And there it was in the little Town of Radda in Chianti. Hotel "Relais Vignale" wonderful situated, wonderful people, nice room, nice breakfast... Everything perfect. Simply great! If you travel to Tuscany, I warmly recommend: Hotel Vignale
